Hypnosis a natural state that most people have entered thousands of times without even knowing it.  Everyone enters
state much like hypnosis before they fall asleep and just about everyone can be hypnotized.  In a hypnotic state you
body is much more relaxed but you are mentally much more sharp than in a conscious state of awareness.

This method of psychotherapy can be used to relieve anxiety or improve/alter behavior.  It can facilitate behavioral or
emotional changes in someone to achieve a certain desired result.  This type of hypnosis is not used for entertainment
purposed but rather to achieve a therapeutic benefit.

Under hypnosis you can learn more about yourself, and ultimately use the new found
knowledge to improve on yourself bother mentally and physically.

IS HYPNOSIS HARMFUL?

It is your choice to enter a trance state, therefore it is your choice to leave it at any
time.  People cannot be made to violate there values or accept patterns of behavior.
If kept in a state of trance by you therapist you would eventually regain consciousness
or fall asleep - awakening after a pleasant nap.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Demonstrated to be effective for rapid change in:
1. Weight loss
2. Phobias
3. Trauma
4. Anxiety (control of blood pressure and heart rate)
5. Increase in ability to concentrate and learn
6. Improve sleep & reduce stress, etc.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A HYPNOSIS SESSION?

First, you would discuss your goals and any concerns you may have about hypnosis with me (licensed psychologist).
Once a conclusion has been made that hypnosis would be beneficial, a hypnotic trance would be the next step after
which you will be returned to full consciousness.

Following the hypnotic trance will be a discussion about the discoveries made when your subconscious mind has
allowed an "uncensored" look at the issues you may be facing.  Then we can discuss the implication on your life.
